Pentagon: 64 civilians got killed by US airstrikes in Iraq and Syria

The Pentagon’s statement is about the casualties of 24 airstrikes conducted between November 20, 2015 and September 10, 2016.

In particular, on November 20, 2015 five civilians were killed by Syria’s Deir Ezzor, and March 5 saw 10 casualties among civilians by Mosul.

In total, according to the Pentagon, since 2014 the US strikes resulted in 119 civilians killed and 37 wounded. However, Amnesty International states that within two years the US-led coalition’s bombings killed about 300 civilians.
