The US Military Plans to Announce the Results of the Investigation of the Coalition’s Air Strikes in Deir ez-Zor

Today, on November 29, the Central Command of the United States Armed Forces (CENTCOM) plans to announce the results of investigations of the international coalition’s air strikes in Deir ez-Zor.

Most likely, the head of the investigation, Brig. Gen. Richard A. Coe will present these results during the telephone press briefing.

It should be mentioned that on September 17 US-led coalition’s aircraft conducted 4 air strikes on the positions of the Syrian army, which were surrounded by ISIS terrorist groups near the airport in Deir ez-Zor. According to the Syrian government, 83 people were killed, more than 100 were     wounded. After those air strikes ISIS terrorists launched the offensive against the Syrian forces.

Then, in the US Department of Defense it was said that the air strike was a mistake. The Pentagon acknowledged the raid, and called it unintentional.

Inside Syria Media Center plans to explore the results of the investigation and to compare them with existing ones.
