Iranian President Hassan Rouhani during a meeting with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a comment on the situation in Syria and Iraq.
Rouhani stated that during the negotiations the issue of the Middle East had been touched, in particular the necessity of joint efforts in a struggle against terrorism due to the fact of ongoing crisis in Syria and Iraq.
“Now days we can see a complicated situation in Syria and Iraq which concerns everybody. It is required to resolve the issue collectively and restore stability and security in the region.” Rouhani said.
Iran, along with Russia and Turkey supported the idea of negotiations between the sides of the Syrian conflict in Astana.
