The International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (ICRC) stated that all the wounded and injured had been evacuated from eastern Aleppo.
The organization representatives confirmed that all patients, along with other people in need of urgent medical care had been evacuated through the humanitarian corridors, organized by the Syrian army.
Earlier, a spokesperson for the ICRC Krista Armstrong said that since the beginning of evacuation in eastern Aleppo, which was launched on December 15, 25 thousand people had been evacuated from the city. The evacuation from Aleppo was organized by governmental forces, who also granted safety exit for the militants who had agreed to lay down their weapons and went to the direction of Idlib province, controlled by the opposition.
At the same time, according to the World Health Organization, there are still several thousand people in the city to be evacuated.
