Syrian Army Advanced to the Southeast of Homs Province

According to Inside Syria Media Center, on January 20, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units continued large-scale offensive deep into the Syrian Desert in the southeastern part of Homs province.

The 1st Armored Division broke through the Islamic state defense line 13 kilometers to T-4 airbase, liberating a number of gas wells on the way to Al-Mar area.

This morning SAA command stated that governmental forces established full control over Al-Mar area, eliminating and wounding a large number of ISIS terrorists in the process.

Eventually SAA has already moved 20 kilometers from T-4 air base and approached to Quraytayn town, a strategically important settlement on the way to Palmyra, which is currently under control of terrorists.
