Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units under support of aviation during a special operation against ISIS established full control over strategic heights that serves as a vantage point of terrorists in the south suburbs of Deir-ez-Zor.
During the operation dozens of terrorists including field commander named Abu Yousef were eliminated. It is also reported that several machine guns and other kinds of weapon used by terrorists in this region were seized. SAA engineering units in the course of survey dismantled a number of explosive devices that had been planted earlier by terrorists. Syrian jets also destroyed ISIS command post, located in al-Bu-Awad Mosque in al-Mo-Hasan city in the eastern countryside of the province, killing 12 terrorists.
In Homs province SAA deliver a stroke on Jabhat al-Nusra’s fortifications in al-Farhania and Um Sharshoh villages in the northern countryside of the province, killing around ten terrorists.
