Turkish General Staff: ISIS to leave Al-Bab

According to a statement released by General Staff of the Turkish army, ISIS has relocated its control centers to the town of Tedef located to the southeast of Al-Bab.

Military sources claim that, as a result, IS terrorists have started to retreat from the town.

According to the statement, this is happening due to the success of the Euphrates Shield operation, which started on August 24 when the Turkish army invaded Syria.

However, Ankara has been unable to capture Al-Bab for nearly three months and ISIS might have decided to regroup in connection with the latest advances of the Syrian army by Palmyra and Deir Ezzor to deploy additional forces there.
