The U.S. president Donald Trump stated that he would lend support to the victims of Syrian conflict despite the ban on entry into territory of the United States for the citizens of this country.
“I have tremendous feeling for the people involved in this horrific humanitarian crisis in Syria. My first priority will always be to protect and serve our country, but as President I will find ways to help all those who are suffering” a statement from the President said.
Donald Trump also stated that that the mass media misinterpreted his immigration policy as “a Muslim ban”. He added that the decree was designed to protect America from terrorists and not from this or that religion. Let us remind you that Trump signed a decree on “protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry” which bans emigration to the citizens of Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Somalia and Sudan and also suspends any admission of refugees.
As a result of the newly elected US President statement, ordinary refugees lost even a purely theoretical chance to enter America.
