Inside Syria Media Center sources report that ISIS terrorists have blown up the pipeline of the Hayan gas field situated to the north-west of Palmyra. According to the information provided the fire caused by the explosion continued for several hours.
To be reminded is that in early January, terrorists blew up the Hayan gas plant to assert economic pressure on Bashar al-Assad and prevent the government troops from recapturing the facility.
Earlier, the plant was one of the largest gas facilities in Syria. It produced about 3 million cubic meters per day and provided gas to one third of Syrian electricity.
