February 19, Armenia delivered 20 tons of humanitarian aid to the Syrian residents, who suffer from the conflict. The board with the humanitarian aid was met at the Khmeimim airbase by Armenian Consul in Aleppo, Tigran Gevorgyan.
This is the fourth board with the Armenian humanitarian aid. Last year, two Russian aircraft brought 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria. February 14, aircraft of military transport aviation delivered another batch of 18.5 tons aid from Armenia. There were for of about 20 types of food as a part of the cargo: juice, canned vegetables, jams, canned meat.
