De Mistura Condemned the Attack in Homs

According to Inside Syria Media Center, the current UN special envoy for Syria, Staffan de Mistura characterized the number of terrorist attacks in Homs as an attempt to derail Syrian peace talks in Geneva.
De Mistura also stated that all the talks’ parties should be interested in the fight against terrorism and be ready for a political process in Syria in order not to allow these attempts to succeed.
On February 25, during Syrian peace talks in Geneva the representatives of the official Damascus delegation addressed Staffan de Mistura to urge all the talks’ parties to condemn the terrorist attacks in the Syrian city of Homs, for which the terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra claimed responsibility.
Earlier, in the city of Homs, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists carried out a series of terrorist attacks. Suicide bombers blew themselves up in the building of security and military security departments and killed at least 35 people, including the Head of Military Security Department for the province of Homs, Major-General Hassan Daaboul.
