Today, the Syrian Army and its allies launched a massive offensive in the town of Halfaya, in northern Hama.
It should be mentioned that Halfaya is still remaining the last major stronghold of terrorists in Syria’s Hama. Suppressing and destroying the defense line of the militants, government forces are steadily approaching the city. Nowadays, the Syrian army continues to press militants to the borders of the province of Idlib. According to a Syrian military source, it was killed more than 2,000 militants during the operation.
We remind that, on Saturday, the Syrian Army managed to restore transportation between the administrative center of the province of Hama and the Christian city of Mahardah.
