Washington stops disclosing the US-led coalition deployments Iraq and Syria

Eric Pahon, a Pentagon spokesman, said that in order to maintain tactical surprise, ensure operational security and force protection, the coalition would not routinely announce or confirm information about the capabilities, force numbers, locations, or movement of forces in or out of Iraq and Syria.

According to the United States Central Command an “element of surprise” in battle tactics will help to provide an adequate level of security for the coalition troops. However, Syrian experts believe that withholding information about the US-led coalition deployments, the Pentagon intends to avoid numerous accusations of a great number of civilian casualties, who were killed as the result of the coalition air strikes.

In addition, perhaps, the US-led Coalition intends to shift the responsibility for its further crimes to the Syrian Army and its allies.
