Syrian Foreign Ministry Calls De Mistura to Take an Unbiased Look at Use of Chemical Weapon in Idlib

Syrian Deputy-Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad denied accusations of using chemical weapons by the Syrian army, noting that the government forces don’t posse such king of weapons and have never used it against terrorists, who use chemical warfare agent to achieve its goals.
This statement has been realized in response to the accusation of opposition that the Syrian Arab Army used chemical weapons at an airstrike delivered on a militant’s controlled area in Khan Sheikhun.
In an interview given to Al-Mayadeen Mekdad said that several weeks ago the Syrian government supplied the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) with the appropriate information on the transporting of toxic substances into Syria by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist
Mekdad also emphasized that Syria have fulfilled all the obligations to the OPCW to destroy stockpiles of chemical weapons and called on the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura to take an impartial position and establish who did militants enquired chemical weapons, which killed more than 100 people.
