13,000 Refugees Flee ISIS-Controlled Parts of Syria’s Raqqa

Raqqa civilian assembly committee chairman Ebdulselam Hemsorik told the Kurdish Firat news agency on Saturday that about 13,000 refugees had fled the territories of the northern Syrian province occupied by ISIS terrorists.

The official added that the majority of refugees was coming from the from Meyselon and Celaa villages north of Raqqa and other villages near Raqqa, but even three weeks ago the influx had been coming mostly from other parts of the crisis-torn state.

It should be mentioned that the refugees came to the areas controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.
