Syrian army pushes ISIS out of its base in Homs

On Friday, Al-Masdar reported that the Syrian army ousted ISIS from an abandoned missile base in Homs province and gained full control over. This advancement allowed the SAA to capture the main road between Damascus and Palmyra.

The army is said to strike northeast towards the Euphrates valley south of the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa – and then march down the river to lift the IS siege on Deir Ezzor city.
