On Monday, Damascus governor Beshr al-Saban told SANA that the fourth and the final phase of evacuating the opposition from Barzeh neighborhood was complete. According to him, in total, 1012 people including 455 militants left the district.
In accordance with the agreement reached with the government, the bus convoy with the evacuated people will head for the territories in northern Syria controlled by the opposition. As the evacuation phase ended, the Syrian troops established full control over the neighborhoods of Barzeh, Qaboun and Tishreen.
