Syrian Army sends nearly 100 military vehicles to defeat ISIS in eastern Hama

ISIS insurgents in central Syria are in deep trouble after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) sent a large convoy of reinforcements to the frontier over the weekend in a bid to widen the Aleppo supply line and snuff out a long-standing ISIS bulge which spans across eastern Hama and Homs.

Footage of the large SAA convoy showed countless machine-gun manned technicals, artillery pieces mounted on trucks, anti-aircraft guns and buses full of government soldiers heading towards the frontline in eastern Homs.

The reinforcements serve to tip the manpower balance hugely in favor of the SAA which previously relied heavily on the National Defence Forces (NDF) to keep ISIS in check.
