Syrian Air Force Strikes ISIS Terrorists West of Raqqa

The Syrian Air Force attacked an ISIS command post and firing positions west of Raqqa (520 km from Damascus). According to the Syrian Army’s Command, militants suffered serious losses as a result of the air strikes, several armored vehicles and military vehicles were destroyed.

It should be mentioned that earlier, on June 8, the government Air Force struck at the terrorist command posts in several villages, located on the western approaches to Raqqa.

It is also necessary to stress, that unlike the attacks of the US-led coalition, the air strikes of the Syrian Air Force are aimed directly at the positions of ISIS terrorists. In addition, the Command of the Syrian army is making every effort to minimize the number of civilian casualties.
