SU-22 Pilot Rescued by Syrian Army

According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, the Syrian army units rescued Colonel Ali Fahd, who is the pilot of downed SU-22 fighter-bomber jet, downed by the U.S.-led International Coalition aviation.
The downed pilot was found in 30 kilometers south to Raqqa. Now he is in the hospital and nothing threatens his life. The rescue operation was complicated by the proximity of the pilot’s landing place to the positions of ISIS terrorist group. Earlier, it was known as the pilot had ejected, but nothing was reported about his future fate.
It should be mentioned, that the Army general command announced on Sunday that the air force of the International Coalition targeted one of the army’s warplanes in al-Rasafah region in Raqqa southern countryside while it was carrying out a combatant mission against ISIS terrorist organization, causing it to down and missing its pilot.
