Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to Allow for Sending Military Peacekeeping Contingent to Syria

The Kyrgyz and Kazakh authorities allow for sending peacekeeping contingent to four de-escalation zones in Syria. This was reported by Temir Djumakadyrov, Kyrgyzstan National Security Council Secretary. According to him, earlier, such a question was raised at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) meeting.

In his turn, at the press-conference on Thursday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spokesperson, Ibrahim Kalin, stressed that this issue was planned to be discussed at a meeting on the Syrian conflict in July. Besides, the decision of this question will entirely depend on the position of the Syrian government, Kalin reported.
