Syrian Refugees Continue to Return Home from Lebanon

Today within the frameworks of the second phase of refugee relocation from Lebanon to Syria, a convoy of 300 Syrian refugees left the camp from the border city of Arsal and departed for the village of Assal Al-Ward in Syria.
Let us remind you, that during the first stage in June, more than 150 people returned to Syria. At least 600 families could also leave Arsal during the second stage.
The return of refugees from Arsal back to Syria became possible after the Syrian government troops regained control over the number of border settlements on the outskirts of Damascus.
At the present time Arsal is a high-tension place on the Lebanese-Syrian border as ISIS uses it for arms smuggling and transportation of militants to Syria.
