Syrian Army Pushes Forward in Eastern Damascus

According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, the Syrian army units has once again pushed forward towards eastern outskirts of Damascus, establishing control over a number of settlements in the so-called Ayn Tarma Triangle.
Under support of the aviation the government forces after fierce clashes with Faylaq Al-Rahman militants managed to liberate Ayn Tarma Market and a number of nearby buildings.
At the same time, the armored forces backed by National Defense Forces (NDF) attacked militant’s positions in Jobar, killing more than 20 radicals.
Violent confrontations between the Syrian army and various militant groups are still going on in several parts of eastern Damascus. The Syrian High Command tries to liberate the northern part of the Syrian capital from illegal armed groups as soon as possible.
