According to AMN, Ahrar Al-Sham militants accused their former allies from Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham of trying to take over many areas in the Idlib Governorate, Tuesday, following a brief reconciliation.
Releasing a statement via their official social media wing, Ahrar Al-Sham accused Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham of trying to take over the imperative town of Saraqeb near the and the Al-Zawiya Mountains in the western part of the Idlib Governorate.
This accusation by Ahrar Al-Sham comes just 72 hours after the two jihadist groups reconciled and declared they will work together to fight the Syrian Arab Army in a future joint offensive.
With tensions running high once again, it is ultimately unlikely that the two jihadist forces will launch any joint operation in northern Syria.
