Syrian Army Makes New Advance in Raqqa

According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, Syrian army backed by Hezbollah units after fierce clashes managed to displace ISIS terrorists from their positions in the southeastern part of Raqqa province, advancing to the northern frontiers of Deir Ezzor province.
The government troops proceeded in Badiyah Desert and liberated Wadi Al-Abid and Al-Tobar Wadi gas field as well as the village of Qanem in northern Deir Ezzor.
It is also reported that the Syrian Army Special Forces recaptured all the strategic hilltops in the southeastern Raqqa and established fire control over the towns of Qanim Al-Ali, Shuraydah and Al-Sabha, which are located along the western bank of the Euphrates River.
