Kazakh FM is not Aware on Postponing Syrian Talks

According to Kazakh Foreign Ministry press service, the department doesn’t have information about the advancement of the sixth round of international meeting on Syria in Astana, which is originally scheduled on late August.
Thus, the press service official Anuar Zhainakov commented on the media reports that the Syrian talks can be rescheduled or postponed. He also added that if the Kazakh Foreign Ministry received the information on the changes regarding the talks, it would  notify all the sides in time.
Earlier a number of media with the reference to the source in the Middle East reported that the negotiations would take place in Kazakh’s capital on August 14-15.
Let us remind you that five rounds of Syrian talks with the participation of the Syrian government delegation and the opposition have already held in the capital of Kazakhstan. The creation of ceasefire mechanism and the de-escalation zones memorandum signing has become the key outcome of the meetings.
