Bashar Assad Holds Meeting with Tunisian Delegation in Damascus

On August 4, Tunisian parliamentary delegation arrived in Damascus and started a nine-day visit to Syria. The delegates have already held a number of meetings high-ranking Syrian officials, including Commander-in-Chief of the Army and the Armed Forces and President Bashar al-Assad.
One of the delegation members Laila-Shatawi stated that more than 3000 Tunisians are fighting in the ranks of terrorist groups both in Syria and Iraq and that’s why Tunisia would assist Syria in fighting terrorism.
