Agenda of upcoming meeting on Syria in Astana to be determined in Tehran

According to Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the agenda of international meeting on Syria in Astana will be determined during the meeting of the guarantor states of the Syrian ceasefire regime (Iran, Russia and Turkey) in Tehran on August 8-9.
Earlier, the Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov reported, that are no changes regarding the terms of talks and they are scheduled for late August. However if there are any changes, all participants will be notified in time.
It should be mentioned, that the previous meeting on Syria in Astana was held on July 4-5. The Syrian government delegation, armed oppositions, guarantor states, the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and independent observers from the United States and Jordan took part in the talks.
In the joint statement the guarantor sates officially established the creation of a joint working group on de-escalation zones in Syria in accordance with the previously adopted memorandum.
