August 20, U.S.-led Coalition Air Forces struck a mosque in the village of el-Jazzar, located in the southeast of the Syrian province of Al-Hasakah. The air strikes led to 40 people inside were killed, dozens were seriously injured.
At the same time, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, from August 14 to August 20, the Coalition’s actions resulted in the death of 90 civilians. The official website of the organization also notes that the toll of victims is invariably increasing.
