According to the United Nations press office, more than 100,000 people from Homs province got humanitarian aid.
The joint convoy of the UN, the ICRC and the Syrian Red Crescent delivered medical supplies and basic necessities to Al-Rastan area in Homs for more than 107,000 Syrians. The previous convoy arrived in the area in late June.
On August 26, United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs also delivered humanitarian aid to more than 20, 000 civilians in the besieged area of Barzeh in Damascus.
Let us remind you that, on August 28, the UN once again raised public awareness to the fate of 25,000 civilians in the besieged city of Raqqa who are suppressed by terrorists and indiscriminate airstrikes of the U.S.-led international coalition.
