According to the Syrian Army statement, at 2:42 am Israeli jets delivered an airstrike at a military facility near Masyaf in the province of Hama. Two people are reported to have been killed. The missiles were fired from the Lebanese airspace.
Lebanon’s local media claim the Israeli jets were seen in the skies at around 2:30 am local time.
The Syrian Army command reacted furiously on Tel-Aviv’s actions and warned against the “dangerous repercussions of this aggressive action to the security and stability of the region”.
To be also noted is that the Israeli military refused to comment on the airstrike claiming operational matters cannot be discussed.
