Syrian Army Liberates New Territories in Deir Ezzor

According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, the Syrian army units backed by allied forces continued the liberation of Deir Ezzor province, liberating new settlements.
It is reported that the government forces had recaptured Al-Taim oil field and the surrounding areas and continue to advance towards Deir Ezzor, inflicting heavy losses to ISIS terrorists in the personnel and equipment.
This week the Syrian troops broke through one of the besieged pockets by seizing the Brigade 137 base on the western edge of the city. Troops Friday began a push toward the second encircled area, which includes the Deir Ezzor military airport on the city’s southern edge
The source said troops from Brigade 137 had advanced south and were now fighting in Deir Ezzor’s vast cemetery, about a kilometer northwest of the air base.
