The Syrian government troops keep advancing to the northwest of Deir Ezzor province.
In 24 hours, the army liberated a number of towns on the Euphrates’ east bank.
According to the information obtained by Inside Syria Media Center, during the assault, the SAA gained control over the towns of al-Tabni, al-Turayif, al-Buwitiyah, Khan Zahra and al-Masrab.
Moreover, the Islamic State positions near Manjm al-Malah salt mines and on the Salim mountain range were captured. As a result, the most part of the province is under Damascus control.
At this moment, the SAA is 30 km away from the government troops’ positions in southeast Raqqa province.
