Yesterday, the Lebanese Army arrested two high-ranking ISIS field commanders.
According to the Lebanese command, the prosecution of the militants was conducted for several hours. As a result, Ibrahim Ahmad Zarzour (Lebanese) and Uday Hussein Khatib (Syrian) were determined near the town of Arsal.
It is noted that the terrorists took an active part in the battles against the Lebanese army and planned to conduct terrorist attacks in the country. In addition, they were involved in the explosion of al-Qalamoun Scholars’ Committee headquarters in Arsal and the attack on an army patrol that was heading to inspect the blast.
