Syrian Army Liberates New Territories in Northern Hama, Killing Dozens of Terrorists

The Syrian army units backed by heavy airstrikes of the Russian aviation managed to push Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham militants (ex Jabhat Al-Nusra) back from another key settlement in the northern countryside of Hama province.
The government forces attacked Al-Nusra’s defense lines and fortifications in northeastern Hama and imposed control over the village of Shakhitar and strategic hill of al-Baleel along the road to the small town of Abu Dali.
In the meantime, the Syrian army engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra North of the village of Shakousiyeh in Northern Hama, repelling their attack and inflicting heavy casualties to the terrorists.
At the same time, Omar al-Marei, who is one of the high-ranking field commanders of the Idlib Free Army, was badly wounded during heavy clashes with the Syrian troops in the region.
