Syrian Army Seizes Terrorists’ Western Weapons in Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Army soldiers have found a large volume of US-made weapons  in several regions of Southeastern Deir Ezzor that were previously held by ISIS terrorists.

The sources said that the army units carried out mop-up operations in al-Asharah, Sabikhan and al-Salehiyeh regions in Southeastern Deir Ezzor, seizing a large volume of arms, ammunition and bomb-laden vehicles.

A military source said on Sunday that the army troops continued their anti-ISIS operations in Southeastern Deir Ezzor and managed to impose control over more strategic regions adding that the army came closer to a full siege of the terrorists in Eastern province.

The source said that the army men advanced significantly against ISIS South of the town of al-Mayadeen and captured Dabilan region after imposing control over Sabikhan.

The army units also seized the strategic Tarfan hill, the source said, adding that the army soldiers were on the verge of laying a full siege on ISIS after the recent advances in Eastern Deir Ezzor.
