Eastern Ghouta in Damascus is currently officially under the full control of the Syrian government.
It is also said that the last group of Jaysh Al-Islam militants and their family members were transported via bus from Douma to northern Aleppo.
While Douma is free of Jaysh Al-Islam militants, the Syrian Army will not enter the town, per the agreement that was put in place between the Russian Reconciliation Centre and local rebels.
The Russian and Syrian military police units did however enter Douma and will work with the state government to reintroduce several institutions inside town.
Eastern Ghouta operation is officially completed; most Syrian troops will be redeployed.
