The army’s artillery and missile units and aircraft struck ISIS’s positions and fortifications in Hajar al-Aswad and al-Qadam areas and Yarmouk Refugee Camp.
Field sources confirmed that ISIS’s main Operation Room has been razed down in the attack, leaving a number of terrorist commanders, including Jordanian Qeis al-Mahayeh and Saudi Karar al-Shemri and Ayub Najdi, dead and several more wounded.
It is also said that the army soldiers have also advanced against the militants in Hajar al-Aswad, cutting off the terrorists’ supply lines.
They said that other army units have managed to advance against the terrorists and seized control over several points in al-Asali flank.
Previously the Syrian troops distributed thousands of leaflets in militant-held regions in the Southern part of Damascus province, urging the terrorists to lay down arms and surrender to the government forces immediately.
