Yesterday Syrian helicopters dropped hundreds of leaflets over the provincial capital of Dara’a and its countryside, demanding the militants to surrender to the government forces.
This leaflets specifically called on the militants to lay down their arms and weapons and seek reconciliation with the Syrian government.
The Syrian authorities warned the militants that they are already winning and that taking their arms with them won’t change anything on the battlefield.
Moreover, the leaflets also called on the locals in Daraa to join the Syrian Army to fight terrorism.
With the battle of southern Damascus nearly finished, the Syrian military is getting ready to move its forces to the Dara’a province, where they indend to initiate a large-scale offensive in the near future.
