According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, more than 850 Syrian refugees are scheduled to return to Syria from Lebanon this week.
It is also reported that these group of refugees will depart from Lebanon through the ‘Arsal District and get to Qalamoun region, located in western Damascus.
The Syrians will be returning to their homes in the western part of the Qalamoun Mountains, which was fully liberated by the Syrian army units and the allied forces in 2017 after years of fierce clashes.
It’s worths noting, that this is the fourth and largest bunch refugees who have expressed a wish to return to their homes.
Currently, the Lebanese Red Cross along with UN High Commissioner for Refugees are monitoring the situation.
