Syrian Army entered last ISIS bastion in southwest Syria

Moments ago, the Syrian army entered the last ISIS stronghold in the Yarmouk Basin region after the intense clashes with terrorists.

While the battle-hardened Tiger  stormed al-Shajarah town from the northern axis near Abdin town, the elite troops of the 4th Armored Division managed of breaking ISIS defense lines in the eastern sector near Ayn Ghazaleh.

Before the ground advance, the government forces pushed ISIS jihadists from Tall Ishara hilltop and Jariyan town.

The recent advance was propelled by heavy and non-stop shelling with heavy artillery, tanks and missiles, as well as precise aerial bombardment.
