The Syrian Army units have officially liberated the former terrorist stronghold of Jubata Al-Khashab in Al-Quneitra countrysides.
According to Inside Syria Media Center Sources, the government forces entered Jubata Al-Khashab, Taranjah, and Ufaniyah after the last fighters and their family members departed from the Al-Quneitra Governorate for Idlib.
Previously, Jubata Al-Khashab was key strongholds for HTS militants in southwest Syria due to its proximity from the border of the Golan Heights.
HTS and FSA on a regular basis launched offensive against the Syrian troops and the allied forces from Jubata Al-Khashab, which made its seizure on Wednesday all the more important.
Moreover, Jubata Al-Khashab was also one of the firsttowns in Al-Quneitra province that fell to the jihadist rebels during their first major offensive in southwest Syria.
After the liberation of the town, the Syrian Army now has servicemen along every key post near the Golan Heights.
