Amman is ready to open al-Jaber crossing point

The Jordanian Ministry of Transport has formed a specialized committee to examine the readiness of Amman to open al-Jaber crossing opposite the border crossing an-Naseeb with Syria.
The General Secretary of the Jordanian Ministry of Transport confirmed that the committee included specialists from the Ministry of Interior, the Customs Department, the Land Transport Authority and Customs Clearance Agents, and held discussions with the concerned parties on the readiness of Jordan to open the Jaber crossing.
He added: “If the Syrian side is ready and secure the way to enter Syrian territory, Jordan will announce the opening of the border with Syria.”

The latest SAA’s achievements, it seems, proves the possibility of opening Jaber crossing and improving the peaceful situation in the region.
