Jordan Consider the Ways to Help Syria with Economic Development

Jordan and Syria discussed the resumption of trade in agricultural products at the border crossing of an-Naseeb. It is reported that at the moment more than 170 companies have expressed a desire to use an-Naseeb border crossing point so that to start economic development with Syria.

It should be mentioned that earlier the Jordanian Ministry of Transport has formed a specialized committee to examine the readiness of Amman to open al-Jaber crossing opposite the border crossing an-Naseeb with Syria.

Investment in economic reconstruction might well be the best possible means of consolidating a political settlement. It’s the good piece of news that Jordan has continued to contribute to the economic reconstruction of Syria, being understood that it is well aware that only the active fight against Syrian poverty and terrorism, against this scourge, depends mainly on the degree of solidarity and help between border countries.
